About Yasue
Yasue studied Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design and graduated to become the Head Designer of the costume department for the performance group 'Ellena'
She then went on to design and produce orders for various pop groups and models, including Bjork, S Express, Lindy Layton and Keith Martin.
Later on Yasue graduated from Central St.Martins College of Art and Design with BA Hons in Fashion Design.
Within a year of graduating she had set up her own company called Mutiny and was signed by a Japanese distributor.
Soon after the Yasue Carter label was born.
Taking influence from her theatrical and artistic background Yasue developed the flair for designing bright and innovative collections.
The collection snatched the attention of the well established Japanese Agent 'Renown Look Inc.'
For over 10 years Yasue has been successfully trading in Japan and has recently dipped her toe into the European and US market.
The Yasue Carter label consists of day wear suitable for all Occasions.
Incorporating subtle tones, bold designs and attractive details along with traditional to unusual textiles, makes the styles unique and distinctive.
